Insert this stem low, near the rim or slightly below the main mass of flowers. Angle it so the strands fall outside of the vase silhouette, cascading over the edge rather than sitting inside the arrangement. Use asymmetrically - more length on one side than the other gives a more natural than a mirrored pair.

2–4 stems is usually enough for a mantel-sized arrangement. This stem works best against warm tones such as amber, burnt orange, gold and moss green.

Pair with something structural so the eye has an anchor before it follows the Amaranthus down. this stems looks good when combined with berry sprays or Catkins for a layered, textural cascade rather than one flat strand.
